 1Now the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and JERUSALEM; in the name of the God of Israel they prophesied to them.  2Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Yeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at JERUSALEM; and with them were the prophets of God, helping them.

Ezra 5:14-17

 14The gold and silver vessels also of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in JERUSALEM, and brought into the temple of Babylon, those Cyrus the king took out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered to one whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;  15and he said to him, ‘Take these vessels, go, put them in the temple that is in JERUSALEM, and let the house of God be built in its place.’  16Then the same Sheshbazzar came, and laid the foundations of the house of God which is in JERUSALEM: and since that time even until now has it been in building, and yet it is not completed.  17Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let a search be made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at JERUSALEM; and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.”

Ezra 6:3

 3In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king made a decree: Concerning the house of God at JERUSALEM, let the house be built, the place where they offer sacrifices, and let its foundations be strongly laid; its height sixty cubits, and its breadth sixty cubits;

Ezra 6:5

 5Also let the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at JERUSALEM, and brought to Babylon, be restored, and brought again to the temple which is at JERUSALEM, everyone to its place; and you shall put them in the house of God.

Ezra 6:9

 9That which they have need of, both young bulls, and rams, and lambs, for burnt offerings to the God of heaven; also wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the word of the priests who are at JERUSALEM, let it be given them day by day without fail;

Ezra 6:12

 12and the God who has caused his name to dwell there overthrow all kings and peoples who shall put forth their hand to alter the same, to destroy this house of God which is at JERUSALEM. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with all diligence.

Ezra 6:18

 18They set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at JERUSALEM; as it is written in the book of Moses.

Ezra 7:7-9

 7There went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, to JERUSALEM, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.  8He came to JERUSALEM in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.  9For on the first day of the first month began he to go up from Babylon; and on the first day of the fifth month came he to JERUSALEM, according to the good hand of his God on him.

Ezra 7:13-17

 13I make a decree, that all those of the people of Israel, and their priests and the Levites, in my realm, who are minded of their own free will to go to JERUSALEM, go with you.  14Because you are sent of the king and his seven counselors, to inquire concerning Judah and JERUSALEM, according to the law of your God which is in your hand,  15and to carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counselors have freely offered to the God of Israel, whose habitation is in JERUSALEM,  16and all the silver and gold that you shall find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in JERUSALEM;  17therefore you shall with all diligence buy with this money bulls, rams, lambs, with their meal offerings and their drink offerings, and shall offer them on the altar of the house of your God which is in JERUSALEM.

Ezra 7:19

 19The vessels that are given to you for the service of the house of your God, deliver before the God of JERUSALEM.

Ezra 7:27

 27Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in JERUSALEM;

Ezra 8:29-32

 29Watch, and keep them, until you weigh them before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites, and the princes of the fathers’ households of Israel, at JERUSALEM, in the rooms of the house of the LORD.”  30So the priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to JERUSALEM to the house of our God.  31Then we departed from the river Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to JERUSALEM: and the hand of our God was on us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy and the bandit by the way.  32We came to JERUSALEM, and stayed there three days.

Ezra 9:9

 9For we are bondservants; yet our God has not forsaken us in our bondage, but has extended loving kindness to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and in JERUSALEM.

Ezra 10:7

 7They made proclamation throughout Judah and JERUSALEM to all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together to JERUSALEM;

Ezra 10:9

 9Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together to JERUSALEM within the three days; it was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month: and all the people sat in the broad place before the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.

Nehemiah 1:2-3

 2that Hanani, one of my brothers, came, he and certain men out of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who were left of the captivity, and concerning JERUSALEM.  3They said to me, “The remnant who are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach. The wall of JERUSALEM also is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.”

Nehemiah 2:11-13

 11So I came to JERUSALEM, and was there three days.  12I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God put into my heart to do for JERUSALEM; neither was there any animal with me, except the animal that I rode on.  13I went out by night by the valley gate, even toward the jackal’s well, and to the dung gate, and viewed the walls of JERUSALEM, which were broken down, and its gates were consumed with fire.

Nehemiah 2:17

 17Then I said to them, “You see the evil case that we are in, how JERUSALEM lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come, let us build up the wall of JERUSALEM, that we won’t be disgraced.”

Nehemiah 2:20

 20Then answered I them, and said to them, “The God of heaven will prosper us. Therefore we, his servants, will arise and build; but you have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in JERUSALEM.”

Nehemiah 3:8-9

 8Next to him, Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, made repairs. Next to him, Hananiah one of the perfumers made repairs, and they fortified JERUSALEM even to the broad wall.  9Next to them, Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of half the district of JERUSALEM, made repairs.

Nehemiah 3:12

 12Next to him, Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of JERUSALEM, he and his daughters, made repairs.

Nehemiah 4:7-8

 7But it happened that when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabians, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of JERUSALEM went forward, and that the breaches began to be filled, then they were very angry;  8and they conspired all of them together to come and fight against JERUSALEM, and to cause confusion therein.

Nehemiah 4:22

 22Likewise at the same time said I to the people, “Let everyone with his servant lodge within JERUSALEM, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and may labor in the day.”

Nehemiah 6:7

 7You have also appointed prophets to proclaim of you at JERUSALEM, saying, ‘There is a king in Judah!’ Now it will be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.”

Nehemiah 7:2-3

 2that I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the castle, in charge of JERUSALEM; for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.  3I said to them, “Don’t let the gates of JERUSALEM be opened until the sun is hot; and while they stand guard, let them shut the doors, and you bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of JERUSALEM, everyone in his watch, with everyone near his house.”

Nehemiah 7:6

 6These are the children of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned to JERUSALEM and to Judah, everyone to his city;

Nehemiah 8:16

 16So the people went out, and brought them, and made themselves booths, everyone on the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the broad place of the water gate, and in the broad place of the gate of Ephraim.

Nehemiah 11:1-4

 1The princes of the people lived in JERUSALEM: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in JERUSALEM the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.  2The people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell in JERUSALEM.  3Now these are the chiefs of the province who lived in JERUSALEM; but in the cities of Judah everyone lived in his possession in their cities: Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants.  4In JERUSALEM lived certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalalel, of the children of Perez;

Nehemiah 11:6

 6All the sons of Perez who lived in JERUSALEM were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.

Nehemiah 11:22

 22The overseer also of the Levites at JERUSALEM was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers, over the business of the house of God.

Nehemiah 12:27-29

 27At the dedication of the wall of JERUSALEM they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to JERUSALEM, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with giving thanks, and with singing, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and with harps.  28The sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain around JERUSALEM, and from the villages of the Netophathites;  29also from Beth Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had built them villages around JERUSALEM.

Nehemiah 12:43

 43They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of JERUSALEM was heard even afar off.

Nehemiah 13:6-7

 6But in all this, I was not at JERUSALEM; for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon I went to the king: and after certain days asked I leave of the king,  7and I came to JERUSALEM, and understood the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, in preparing him a room in the courts of the house of God.

Nehemiah 13:15-16

 15In those days saw I in Judah some men treading winepresses on the Sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and loading donkeys; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all kinds of burdens, which they brought into JERUSALEM on the Sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day in which they sold food.  16There lived men of Tyre also therein, who brought in fish, and all kinds of wares, and sold on the Sabbath to the children of Judah, and in JERUSALEM.

Nehemiah 13:19-20

 19It came to pass that, when the gates of JERUSALEM began to be dark before the Sabbath, I commanded that the doors should be shut, and commanded that they should not be opened until after the Sabbath. I set some of my servants over the gates, that no burden should be brought in on the Sabbath day.  20So the merchants and sellers of all kinds of wares lodged outside of JERUSALEM once or twice.

 2Many nations will go and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from JERUSALEM;

Micah 4:8

 8You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come, yes, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of JERUSALEM.

Zephaniah 1:4

 4I will stretch out my hand against Judah, and against all the inhabitants of JERUSALEM. I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place: the name of the idolatrous and pagan priests,

Zephaniah 1:12

 12It will happen at that time, that I will search JERUSALEM with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

Zephaniah 3:14

 14Sing, daughter of Zion! Shout, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of JERUSALEM.

Zephaniah 3:16

 16In that day, it will be said to JERUSALEM, “Don’t be afraid, Zion. Don’t let your hands be weak.”

Zechariah 1:12

 12Then the angel of the LORD replied, “O LORD of Hosts, how long will you not have mercy on JERUSALEM and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these seventy years?”

Zechariah 1:14

 14So the angel who talked with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of Hosts: “I am jealous for JERUSALEM and for Zion with a great jealousy.

Zechariah 1:16-17

 16Therefore thus says the LORD: “I have returned to JERUSALEM with mercy. My house shall be built in it,” says the LORD of Hosts, “and a line shall be stretched forth over JERUSALEM.”’

 17“Proclaim further, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of Hosts: “My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion, and will again choose JERUSALEM.”’”

Zechariah 1:19

 19I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these?”

He answered me, “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and JERUSALEM.”

Zechariah 2:2

 2Then I asked, “Where are you going?”

He said to me, “To measure JERUSALEM, to see what is its breadth and what is its length.”

Zechariah 2:4

 4and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘JERUSALEM will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.

Zechariah 2:12

 12The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose JERUSALEM.

Zechariah 3:2

 2The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the LORD who has chosen JERUSALEM rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”

Zechariah 7:7

 7Aren’t these the words which the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets, when JERUSALEM was inhabited and in prosperity, and its cities around her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?’”

Zechariah 8:3-4

 3Thus says the LORD: “I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of JERUSALEM. JERUSALEM shall be called ‘The City of Truth;’ and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts, ‘The Holy Mountain.’”

 4Thus says the LORD of Hosts: “Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of JERUSALEM, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Zechariah 8:8

 8and I will bring them, and they will dwell in the midst of JERUSALEM; and they will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”

Zechariah 8:15

15so again have I thought in these days to do good to JERUSALEM and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid.

Zechariah 8:22

 22Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in JERUSALEM, and to entreat the favor of the LORD.”

Zechariah 9:9-10

 9Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of JERUSALEM! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.  10I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from JERUSALEM; and the battle bow will be cut off; and he will speak peace to the nations: and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

Zechariah 12:2-3

 2“Behold, I will make JERUSALEM a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and on Judah also will it be in the siege against JERUSALEM.  3It will happen in that day, that I will make JERUSALEM a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.

Zechariah 12:5-11

 5The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of JERUSALEM are my strength in the LORD of Hosts their God.’  6In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and JERUSALEM will yet again dwell in their own place, even in JERUSALEM.  7The LORD also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of JERUSALEM not be magnified above Judah.  8In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of JERUSALEM. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the LORD before them.  9It will happen in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against JERUSALEM.  10I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of JERUSALEM, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to mea whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.  11In that day there will be a great mourning in JERUSALEM, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

Zechariah 13:1

 1“In that day there will be a spring opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of JERUSALEM, for sin and for uncleanness.

Zechariah 14:1-2

 1Behold, a day of the LORD comes, when your spoil will be divided in your midst.  2For I will gather all nations against JERUSALEM to battle; and the city will be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go out into captivity, and the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.

Zechariah 14:4

 4His feet will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before JERUSALEM on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in two, from east to west, making a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Zechariah 14:8

 8It will happen in that day, that living waters will go out from JERUSALEM; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in summer and in winter will it be.

Zechariah 14:10-12

 10All the land will be made like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of JERUSALEM; and she will be lifted up, and will dwell in her place, from Benjamin’s gate to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananel to the king’s winepresses.  11Men will dwell therein, and there will be no more curse; but JERUSALEM will dwell safely.  12This will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have warred against JERUSALEM: their flesh will consume away while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will consume away in their sockets, and their tongue will consume away in their mouth.

Zechariah 14:14

 14Judah also will fight at JERUSALEM; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered together: gold, and silver, and clothing, in great abundance.

Zechariah 14:16-17

 16It will happen that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against JERUSALEM will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to keep the feast of booths.  17It will be, that whoever of all the families of the earth doesn’t go up to JERUSALEM to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, on them there will be no rain.

Zechariah 14:21

 21Yes, every pot in JERUSALEM and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of Hosts; and all those who sacrifice will come and take of them, and cook in them. In that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of Hosts.

Malachi 2:11

 11Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in JERUSALEM; for Judah has profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.

Malachi 3:4

 4Then the offering of Judah and JERUSALEM will be pleasant to the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.
